Environment Stage 1 — See the team's signature
Read the team constellation together and agree what the team's shape actually is.
- Time to allow
- About 25 minutes
Before you start
- Diagnostic completion threshold met; consent given.
Read the constellation
The constellation places the team by orientation. Crowded regions are where the team has depth; edges and gaps are where it has none. Distance from the centre reflects how strongly a person's signature pulls.

Run the stage
- 1
Open the alignment and select Stage 1.
- 2
Give the team a silent minute with the constellation.
Ask them to note what surprises them before anyone speaks.
- 3
Collect what the team sees, crowding first, then gaps.
- 4
Read the drafted signature reading aloud and edit it.
Change anything the team would not say about itself.
- 5
Confirm the stage.
Result: Stage 2 opens.
What good looks like
- The team names its crowding without defending it.
- At least one gap is acknowledged out loud.
